PLEASE READ BEFORE SIGNING UP

The Participant (“I”), acknowledge that participating in the activities of the Sticky Running Club (“SRC”) involves an inherent risk of physical injury and could potentially be hazardous. I certify that I am physically fit, have sufficiently trained for participation in these events, and have not been advised otherwise by a qualified medical person. In consideration of my participation in the activities organized by SRC, I agree to the following:

1. Assumption of Risk: I acknowledge that running, volunteering, and participating in club activities carries inherent risks, including, but not limited to, falls, contact with other participants, weather conditions, traffic, and the conditions of the road/trail. I assume all risks associated with participation, even if arising from the negligence of the releasees or others, and accept full responsibility for my participation.

2. Release and Waiver: I, for myself and on behalf of my heirs, assigns, personal representatives, and next of kin, hereby release, indemnify, and hold SRC harmless, its officers, directors, officials, agents, volunteers, and/or other participants, sponsors, advertisers, and, if applicable, owners and lessors of premises used to conduct the event (collectively, the "Releasees"), from any and all claims, demands, losses, and liability arising out of or related to any injury, disability, death, or loss or damage to person or property I may suffer, whether arising from the negligence of the Releasees or otherwise, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

3. Agreement Not to File Suit or Other Claims: I, agree to not sue or otherwise seek relief or damages from the Released Parties for any and all injuries (including death, bodily harm and/or illness), property loss or damage, and minor to severe economic or noneconomic losses, incurred directly or indirectly in connection with SRC.

4. Medical Treatment: I consent to receive medical treatment that may be deemed advisable in the event of injury, accident, and/or illness during the activities. I understand that I am solely responsible for all costs related to such medical treatment, medical transportation, and/or evacuation.

5. Photography and Media Release: I grant SRC permission to use my likeness in photographs, videos, or other digital media (the “Photos”) in any and all of its publications, including web based publications, without payment or other consideration. I understand and agree that all Photos will become the property of SRC and will not be returned.

6. Code of Conduct: I agree to abide by the rules and regulations of SRC and to follow instructions from the event organizers. I understand that failure to do so may result in my removal from the activity without a refund.

7. Severability: If any portion of this waiver is held to be invalid, the remainder of the waiver shall continue in full force and effect. I have read this waiver and release of liability, fully understand its terms, understand that I have given up substantial rights by signing it, and sign it freely and voluntarily without any inducement.
